00 / CONTEXT

The category was new. The audience was underserved.

Viralt is an AI talent manager for Instagram creators. It helps creators turn scattered ideas, performance signals, brand inquiries, rates, and follow-ups into clear next actions.

Our core audience was micro and nano creators, often under 50K followers, moving from casual posting toward a real creator business. They needed support, but traditional agencies rarely served them and existing analytics tools often felt too technical, expensive, or impersonal.

The GTM challenge

Create demand for a new “AI talent manager” category while discovering which audience, promise, creative, and channel produced retained paying creators - not just cheap clicks.

01 / DEFINE

One GTM thesis, four connected loops

Creators did not need another analytics dashboard. They needed a trusted partner that translated creator-business chaos into the next useful action.

ICP & Positioning

Focused the story on Instagram creators building sustainable businesses: content inspiration, growth decisions, brand-deal management, and monetization support in one creator-native workflow.

Creator-Led Distribution

Designed an ambassador system where creator narratives built organic trust while a separate stream of product-led assets supplied repeatable creative tests for paid acquisition.

Search Demand Capture

Built SEO and GEO foundations, then developed topic clusters around creator pain points: brand pitching, deal management, pricing, usage rights, content planning, and monetization.

Paid Learning Engine

Used Meta Ads to compare creator personas, hooks, landing-page message match, monthly versus annual plan mix, activation quality, retention, and cash ROAS by cohort.

02 / BUILD

Organic became both a trust channel and a creative lab

Ambassadors

A two-lane creator system

Managed a five-creator ambassador roster. Each monthly plan balanced creator IP stories with product-led testing assets, protecting authenticity while creating a reliable creative supply.

Organic Social

Pain-point-first education

Turned creator problems into useful carousels and videos: scope creep, inconsistent posting, brand outreach, pricing confidence, and scattered workflows.

SEO / GEO

A search system built around creator intent

Established technical SEO requirements, canonical and sitemap rules, structured content operations, human review, and an editorial backlog that grew to 71 tracked topics by June. Each article linked a real creator question to a relevant Viralt workflow.

03 / OPTIMIZE

Paid media became an evidence engine

Meta creative testing, connected to product truth

I tested creator-led video, carousel, hook, persona, and landing-page combinations. Instead of optimizing only for CTR or registration CPA, I compared cohorts by claimed users, paid conversion, plan mix, D7/D14 retention, creator cost, and cash ROAS.

This exposed a crucial distinction: the creative that acquired the most users was not always the cohort that produced the strongest payback or retained value.

Attribution

Audited direct, missing UTM, legacy source labels, and the landing-page-to-iMessage handoff so campaign decisions were based on normalized source truth.

Cohorts

Compared creator/persona cohorts across activation, paid conversion, monthly-versus-annual mix, D7/D14 retention, and retained revenue.

Decision Model

Built a next-day winner model and daily operating workflow to help the team detect efficient ads earlier while retaining human budget judgment.

Validated multiple acquisition paths

Built measurable demand through Instagram organic, search, creator ambassadors, and Meta Ads, with campaign-level evidence for which creative cohorts deserved continued investment.

Left a system, not a campaign

Created operating workflows for creative review, ambassador planning, SEO production, UTM governance, cohort reporting, retention analysis, budget decisions, and daily growth monitoring.

What I learned

The best growth system does more than find a winning ad. It connects the promise that earns attention to the product moment that earns retention.
